Rotary Read Along has been a fabulous initiative for Bishop Abraham. Our students really enjoy the visits from the guest readers. Our Rotary readers are excellent role models for our students & the time they give to us is much appreciated by both students & staff.It is a fine example of a small act of kindness making a tremendous positive impact.

First of all I would like to thank you for the opportunity of being involved in the Read-A-Long program. It is such a joy to go in to the classrooms and share time, read to them and to experience the wonderful interaction with the little ones. I knew joining Rotary would open so many doors both personally and professionally for me. However, I never knew that reading to children would give me such a sense of giving and a feeling of pride in what Rotarians do. I think all children, no matter the age, are so impressionable. Going to local schools and children seeing invited guests to their school, through their eyes we are “very important people”.
